Amouage Jubilation 40 Man Extrait (100ml) is the most concentrated fragrance Amouage has ever released for men — a 40% "Exceptional Extrait" created to mark the house's 40th anniversary. Most fragrances ask you to choose between everyday wearability and true depth; a handful of truly special ones refuse to make you choose. Created by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, the same nose behind the celebrated Jubilation XXV Man, this extrait reworks that composition at more than double the standard concentration and ages it for 11 weeks — 8 weeks of maceration followed by 3 weeks of maturation. Blackberry, blackcurrant and davana open with a lush, jammy richness, while rosemary and orange keep it from tipping into pure sweetness. A spiced heart of frankincense, cinnamon, clove and rose gives way to a dense, resinous base of oud, myrrh, opoponax, patchouli and cedarwood, the kind of composition niche reviewers regularly call one of the finest masculine extraits in the category.
